I am an UTSA Business graduate that have a lot of athletics
ties in the community. I played volleyball for 2 years at Judson H.S. and at UTSA and now my brother who played basketball
at Madison H.S. is now playing basketball at UTSA. I still currently participate in adult volleyball tournaments all
over Texas and hold volleyball clinics for young girls. I helped my brother through a lot of experiences during his
middle school and high school basketball career and doing this I learned a lot. I can honestly say playing sports
helped me and my brother stay off the streets and kept us out of trouble. Having a sport that we loved
and played all year round gave us something to look forward to and strive to be the best in. There were basketball
programs out there that were very expensive and even though we were able to participate in them there were some kids parents
that couldn't afford it. I also have a child of my own and while I was attending school full-time, it was times
that were really hard for me when I couldn't afford to put him in basketball programs and that really bothered me. I
told myself it shouldn't be that expensive to include your kids in athletic programs around the community. So that is
where Infinity Youth Sports came along. I had some great ideas and with the help of my partners we were able to get
things off the ground. We have a lot of great ideas for Infinity Youth Sports and the community and we hope and plan
to have the communities support.
