Coach Roni Salas began playing CYO volleyball at the age of 6 and continues to play competitively today. She graduated in 1999 from O.W. Holmes High School where she was a 4 year varsity letterman and starter for both volleyball and basketball. She went on to play volleyball at Laredo Junior College in Laredo, Texas then for Concordia Lutheran University in Austin, Texas. She has coached for the YMCA, former club Sudden Impact and most recently was the middle school head coach for Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church and School from 2005-2008. She has helped various clubs throughout the city conduct skills and team camps and conducts private lessons as well. She currently plays adult women's and co-ed for Superior Sports.
